Subject: Obj mapper / making new objects by grouping?

I've almost finished my Spider-Man, the only thing left now is the mask. I've got a good obj I want to use, but no way of texturing it because I can't make a template for it. I've heard of obj mappers but can't locate one, or is there another way to do this? The second question is about making a new object by joining two groups together....is it possible? If so how? Say the mask I want to use is only for half the face, and I want to spawn a prop combining the other half of the original head with the mask peice, so that I can have a new mesh of the combined peices...once again, is it possible? and if so how? Thanks once again!

Ok...Nevermind about the second one, I've figured that one out. All I needed to do was export the two peices together as an obj, and import them back in...presto-ish. Now still lies the REAL problem....making a mesh template to create a texture file....shheesh. If somebody could help me out it would be much appreciated.

Actually I should show you what I have done so far...just a quick render....still need to do the feet, but all in all it's complete....minus the mask. The head you see is actually Micheal's and Awful Soul's mask melded together as an obj...now if I could just make a template for it I'd be in full swing!
