Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 27 2:49 pm)
I seem to remember something about Poser 3 and 4 (in it's earley versions) that couldn't cope with that much memory. There is an updater for Poser 3 HERE but I'm not sure it solves the problem. There also was a memory manager-thingie for P4, not sure if it works with P3 tough. But it may be worth a try. They're HERE if you want to try them out :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

You also get that error if you try to load a character file and you're missing it's cooresponding geometry file OR if you have the geometry file, but its accompanying rsr is corrupted. If you're sure you have the geometry (obj) file you can go into your Geometries directory, locate the obj, and delete its corresponding rsr. That way, Poser can create a new, clean one next time you try to load the file. Also, to find out the filepath to your obj file, you can open up the cr2 file in Notepad. This is what I've discovered using Poser 4. I'm not sure what would be different with P3 but I thought I'd offer the suggestions.
