I am working on a freebie Drum and beater set with wyrwulf. We both make drums in real life so it seamed like the thing to do as well as gives me personaly a 3d palllete to play around for designing new drum designs. This model is based upon a drum wyrwulf made and photographed ( And has for sale ). I am open for sugestions and comments. I also want to personaly thank Dr Geep for his fine tutorials . It gave me the knowlage and know how to attemt this project. Beater was made with primitives useing UV mapper.

Yes i was thinking the same thing Diane. I have all that stuff and might try photographing them and seeng what i can come up with. Not sure i can make a feather from primitives but i can make a texture for phil's quill or a flat 2 sided plane with a masked feather kind of thing.

Looks ready from here...the beadwork on the drusticks is a nice touch.

Here is a test render using one of the owl feathers i masked out and layered in a row. I also made a bear print but its added in post. If any one of you wants to beta test the druns IM me and i will send you the link. Sorry but i havent added and beads or feathers to the download yet , still working on them .
