Have just upgraded from an earlier Vue (4.05) version to 4.12, trying the boolean building by having a Box, and using 2 cylinders as a union, with another cylinder as a difference, then placing that within the box. As can see from directly in front union looks ok, also wireframe shaded looks okay, but the textured image shows "transparent" boolean shapes. Any idea please, system is Win 2K pro, 2GB, 128M Ti 4688 video, got around this by building the bridge in Lightwave, but would have preferred using Vue primitives?. Thanks.

You NEVER should use Boolean Union, except for glass and other transparent material. With opac material, only use boolean difference and boolean intersection. See my tutorials about booleans or luck in teh Vue user guide. Guitta guittalogo.GIF
