Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 11 12:18 am)
Many, many thanks to the gracious member of the Forum who emailed me the PCF file of Eve with the V3 texture mapping! I've FINALLY got EveV3 up and running! Since I got no response at all from Morph World when I emailed them about the problem a few weeks ago, I assume providing the EveV3 model to Mac users is not a high priority at the moment. But I'd be happy to email the PCF file to any other Mac users who have been unable to use the EveV3 model and would like to have it (zipped PCF ia 968K). Just send me an email address! Cheers!

I'm back to Poser after a long hiatus and a major HD screw up that ate all the cool Poser libraries I'd collected. While re-downloading things, I discovered that the Eve model had a new variation with better (P4) texture mapping: EveV3, available from Morph World 2. Problem is that only the new UV coordinates for the model are being distributed, with the idea that users can import the new UV mapping into the old geometry file using UVMapper. The reason this is a problem is that importing UV coordinates seems only to be supported in the PC version of UVMapper, and I'm on a Mac. So I have all the EveV3 files, but can't do anything with them, because I can't create the remapped EveV3 geometry file. I emailed Morph World three weeks ago, suggesting they should distribute the entire geometry file for EveV3, but got no response. Am I missing something? Have any other Mac users gotten EveV3 up and running? If so, what do I need to do? If not, could a PC user who has a copy of the remapped geometry file please email me one (Objactified and zipped is fine). Or tell me where I can download one? I'm lost... Thanks! jbc@mac.com
