Hi. can someone point me in the right direction of good working tut's on making my own clothing? i found a real nice dress searching the internet, and i would like to model it to fit the p4 female. but where do i start? second, at one time i had a lash transmap for the p4 female from digital babes. i never saved it to disk like the other frees tuff i had. i just redid my system, and lost it. digita babes no longer has it for downloads. anyone know where i can get it or have a copy of it? And whats a good way to texture the eyebrows to make them look real? i have tried playing with the skin texture itself, and tried adding texture in the materials window, but they dont seem to turn out. any idea's? Thanx in advance for your help.

You can gain a lot of good information by going through the tutorials links from this site. Click on "Tutorials" in the above header. You may also like to review the Tutorial I have written. The example figures, together with the models saved at various stages of their creation are included in the package.

Topics covered in full detail include:-

  • Step by step examples of how to create 3D models
  • Dividing the model into groups
  • UV Mapping
  • Creating the Poser figure
  • Hierarchies
  • Joint Parameters in detail including spherical fall off zones
  • Morphs using magnets
  • Morphs using 3D application
  • Texture maps
  • Custom CR2 work
  • Conforming clothing both by editing an existing file and from scratch.

In essence it is a full explanation of how I create my figures presented in what I feel is a very easy to follow format. Full details are at my site www.philc.net and the Renderosity store.

I would encourage you to search other posts in this forum for comments by others who have found it of benefit.
