Glamorous Vickie got a gig modeling some pantyhose. She thought she would get more to wear than this, though. ;-) After doing the stockings, I thought I try some pantyhose in mesh, not as a texture overlay the way I've always done it. I managed to map these true cylinder (it wasn't easy) so making them fishnets is just a matter of using a simple crosshatch pattern fill, no worry about the front seam as there isn't any, and the back seam lined up with the real seam, so the pattern would naturally break there anyway, if you get my drift. I've always been one for doing things in mesh, not in texture maps. Came out pretty nice, I thought.

Very cool, though, with pantyhose like that, wouldn't it be easier to apply them directly to the model and use a distortion map to give them actual depth, so there's absolutely no conforming problems when posing.... Oh yeah, forgot, not everyone's got Poser 5 ;P Nice work, though, real nice :) I see using the mesh gives them actual depth (thin though they are) without having to resort to P5 exclusive trickery.

Nice Jim _ but I never saw real hose that had a waistline like that. They ALWAYS have a straight round-the-waist waistline. The first time I ever saw this type of line was in conjunction with all the subdividing MATs one now sees in the Poser community for Vicki 2 & 3. :] Fish

I wish real pantyhose DID have a waist line like these- they wouldn't be so horrible and unattractive to wear if they looked like what you've done ! Very nice - lucky Vicky .

I agree Gini, panty hose like these would be great. Perhaps you could sell the idea to a pantyhose manufacturer Jim.

Seems to me I've soon pantyhose like this, but when I went to find a pic I naturally couldn't find one. ;-) I think I am going to pull the very front up a tad though, and make the waistband itself a bit bigger.
