How do the Photoshop plug-ins for Bryce work? Does Bryce provide any info to the plug-in with regards to Bryce light angles and such?

Bryce uses the kpt 3 plugins. I don't believe they provide the plug-ins with such info, since the plugins only deal with 2D pics. AS

Funny you should ask - I was reviewing the bsolutions tutorial which shows you how to use photoshop plugins in the terrain editor (filters) just the other day. There's a link to the site on a thread somewhere on this forum. do a search under bsolutions.

AgentSmith, Bryce can use the plugins on photo textures for colour manipulation, too. For instance, Eye Candy that bikermouse has on the image above.

Lol, I officially didn't realize other non-kpt plugins could be used. (I really must open my eyes ONCE in a while) Thank You! AS

Warning some of photoshop onboard effects will crash Bryce, most plug-ins that can be used in photoshop can also be used in Bryce. I spent a day trying all of PS effects in Bryce, then copied all that worked & all the plug-ins I have to a new folder, then pointed Bryce to the folder, so I wouldn't have to worry about crashing Bryce in the middle of a project.
