Subject: What clothes haven't been made yet?

Bear with me. I know I've been showing lots of stuff. It will be available soon. But I want to make some clothes too. I am keeping a list of everyones's ideas and I am working hard. Suggestions very welcome.

I'd like to see some real Edwardian style clothes. Female as well as male. Victorian versions by Renapad are nice but a bit too flowery and not an example of what most folks wore.

Anything with ruffles, or lace ruffles. I've always wondered if that was possible. Good for romantic/gothic stuff.

Ancient roman senator"s outfits (don't know the name in english). Also the buddhist monk's clothing maybe ?

A pair of plain canvas sneakers. Nothing fancy. Not walkers, not runners, not cross trainers, just plain old generic canvas sneakers. For male and female. I would almost kill for those, yanno? Kate (who likes simple things)

1.) Greco-Roman tunics and togas. 2.) Female medieval to Elizabethan dress for the commoners -- as in barmaids, farmers, etc., etc. 3.) And I think there would be more than a few here who would crown you whatever you wanted to be if you could create some conformable, useable, realistic medieval armor for both male and female. You'd get my vote for President. At least you are more artistic and talented than Bore and Dubya. And we are anxiously awaiting the release of your beautiful hair pieces. Take care and happy creations.

Hi Folks! A few months ago I asked for a model of suspenders--the kind that attach to buttons inside the pants. I would also love to see an openable bathrobe for the male and/or female--with a morphable length. And how about a long posable shawl--a la Tom Baker of Dr. Who? Just my thoughts. Peter (Dr Zik)

Cinderella type dress-- puffed upper sleeves, tapering down to tight at the wrist imperial waist (flares out from just under bust line instead of waist or hips)

JeffH ( ) posted Sun, 04 June 2000 at 10:08 AM

Bell-Bottom Jeans...real flare legged Jeans, not converted slacks.

My vote is for anything for the male Poser figure! However, I am looking for a couple of things for the male figure that I need to render my characters from my Shadowclash Vampire novel. I need an open leather jacket (I can manage to make the texture). There is one but it's part of Jacket man which is a poser 3 dude and I'm working with Bushi's RealEyes Poser 4 figures. I also very badly need stiletto heeled boots for men (the type/style worn by Glam Metal Rockers in the early 80's--I got pictures for reference!) Also Glam Metal Rockers hair styles from the same period.

Zygote priced a plain joe sports coat at $1500, half they'd pick up for development. I'm not a corporation. Only one sport coat in town, and that has a shirt glued to it.

Ok, most of you are regulars so these may be tired suggestions, and because of brain farts I can't remember where any of this stuff is, but... -Weren't there some plain canvas looking tennis/deck shoes from back in P3 days? -Couldn't the Poseable Trenchcoat or the Poseable Wizards Robe at Props Guild be modified for the bathrobe? -Was it PhilC that had the Cinderella character? -How about Paul Hafeli's Lab Coat for a sports coat? ($1500 for a coat for a bunch of polygons? You gotta be kidding. Hell, most of us couldn't even afford one like that IRL.)

A long, black velvet 'Morticia' dress for vampire ladies or Morticia Addams types. It should have a long slit up the side and a plunging 'V' neckline. You could have additional transmaps for it the change the neckline to suit the user.

Sangelia ( ) posted Sun, 04 June 2000 at 1:40 PM

how about clothing that came out of "Doctor Who"?

artnik ( ) posted Sun, 04 June 2000 at 2:04 PM

I know, technically you're asking about clothes, but, how about some really good hair and real beards for our poor, hapless male dork?

Dreamspinner ( ) posted Sun, 04 June 2000 at 5:22 PM

Oh, by the way, Anton, do you have the texture template to your dragon which is for download from Fast Traxx? I'd like to play with making textures for him.

KateTheShrew ( ) posted Sun, 04 June 2000 at 6:08 PM

Pssst...Nance...I don't have P3. Kate

Ihawk ( ) posted Sun, 04 June 2000 at 10:57 PM

I agree, the poser dork needs more clothes. Something like the catsuit for a male is really needed. I've also been begging everyone to make more realistic plate mail.

Anton_Kisiel ( ) posted Mon, 05 June 2000 at 3:44 PM

Dragon Template. I don't use templates. If you load the obj into uv mapper I think It can make one for you just don't remap. Thanks for all the suggestion. They'll be added to the list See new post. I just finished a male tunic. See...direct response.
