This is really strange. I have been thinking that it was really not busy here, since I only got a few e-bots, but now I went to the new messages page by using the link on 'Rosity instead of my mailbox to go and read new threads and there's loads of new messages. Why doesn't e-bot tell me that?

I have the e-mail on post option set to yes and I do get some mails, just not for every new thread. This is really anoying.

you only seem to get ebotted for those you are a participant in. Always been this way (at least for me)

I always get an e-mail when a new thread has started too, but Now I don't get a message for every new thread, only for some of them.

No, Innovator, I normally get e-bots for: 1. All new posts, even if I didn't start it. 2. Messages in posts I started 3. New messages in posts I didn't start, but left a message in. And Rayraz, I'm not getting all the e-bots I should be either. Wish I knew why, maybe there is a common quirk at work here. AS, clay, any ideas?

weird, how come you guys get those ebots? Im kinda glad I dont (dont need that much email I want to have to sift through)

There's a checkbox or something in your member profile for it.

at the top of the main Bryce froum page there is a link to check yes or no for email on posts...

Heheh... Sifting ebot mails? Nah! You just need to have a Renderosity folder at whatever your email account is. Then just use the appropriate filter. Keeps all your 'rosity stuff in one place. Works pretty nice actually. :)

I have it set to yes, but it doesn't send me a message for every new thread. It seems like it only sends one e-mail for the first new thread since I logged out.
