This is great! No kidding. I used to make these models as a kid. I must have made every Airfix plane there was and then some. Since then I've graduated to ships...HMS Victory, RMS Titanic...so, 1st off, where are the maker's marks on the box? 2nd...the paint pots are way too big. I use the tiny thumb sized ones on all my models. 3rd, what about paint brushes, a trimming knife, glue, bandaid(LOL)and maybe a light-source on the desk itself? Apart from all that......great job!

A great start! Hmm...how about a higher resolution on the wall texture? I can see the pixels.
This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

How about something covering the work surface like newspapers or have smudges all over it. If it's a good table, I always protect it with something -- an old table clothe, newspapers, lots and lots of paper towels, even an old piece of plywood or masonite. If it's an old table, I don't really care so only something to keep whatever I'm working on from getting leftover debris on it. And some wadded up towels, a can of paint remover, an old can to hold the brushes and clean brushes in. Maybe a radio? I like to work with music usually. Ok that's enough for now....pretty soon, I'll have it looking like my work area! Disgusting! :o)
Besides that, the coke-can is a bit small compared to the paint-cans, or the paint-cans are just to big, but i don't think so seeing the next to the model.

I think the only real pick about this image is the wall texture. Try increasing the resolution to avoid pixels showing. And, if I recognize it well and it's one of the brick textures from Mayang, you can scale it to make it more detailed and then offset it to have your billboard hiding the unavoidable seam. If you want and have the time, take a look at my pic "The Last Flicker": I scaled the photo texture greatly and then used the posters to hide the repeating, annoying seams. __ The rest of the image is really great, with great realism; that's why the wall stands out so much.
I am going to second Doublecrash here. Additionally I think you have a very clean and unusual basement! There needs to be some stuff stacked along the wall. Never seen a basement without such generic stacked stuff along the walls. The work so far is very good.
Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!
