Finally after almost a month of work, she is ready - P4V2Eve. She is a hybrid of V2 head and Arduino's Eve body to create an anatomically correct P4V2 woman (with Gen) and she comes with a new neck to joint her head and body properly. Also the head has been scaled down slightly to reduce the "big head" appearance of P4 Woman.

I like to take thanks PhilC for his time and advice in grouping and assigning materials. As soon as I am very sure the correct way to that the CR2 can be distributed legally, I will do what I promise.

Please see the render attached and feel free to comments.

I am considering to post it free as my little effort to contribute to the community only if someone can tell me the correct way to distribute the CR2 (since DAZ3d prohibits any distribution of V2CR2). And this seems to fall under the category of derivative products of P4Vicky and DAZ3D also prohibits that. So can someone confirm it I can distribute it by pcf encode files (using P4viky.obj as seed) and the new CR2.

Once distribution is OK, I still need some help as I do not have a web site, so I hope someone can be kind enough to upload it for me somehow.

Finally, I am still not happy with the texture I have created since I am very new to texturing. If anyone is willing to make texture for her please let me know.

Regards

ALmost forgot to thank Arduino for his wonderful Eve figure. And I need to get permission from him for the distribution too.

Very clever idea and it looks like you've done a great job! Now, if someone could map her to take Vicky textures like the remapped P4 figure April did. I assume the genital map would still have to be separate though.

Just reminded me what April did. I will take a look but I am still not sure how with UVMapper. Well time to learn new things again. The gential map will still have to be done separately for realism since there is still a fair bit of detail in a real WG.

So Leeroy5 any idea can the files be distributed legally?

leeroy5 ( ) posted Sat, 10 May 2003 at 1:39 PM

First, I would contact DAZ about the distribution. That way, you'll have the authoritative answer. As for the texture, definitely contact April and see if she can give you some pointers. Her work is wonderful. Having to go only with custom textures will reduce her versatility. I think trying to match up a Vicky head texture and an Eve/Posette body would be difficult. I suppose you could either go with the Vicky head using the Eve textures but I'd prefer the Vicky textures. Having the genital texture separate shouldn't be a big problem. On Arduino's map, it is mostly just the labia with a small area of surrounding body skin texture.

I have alreay written to April to see if I can get any advice regarding remapping to V2 texture as I have totally no idea how to do it with UVMapper. So let's see if she can give some pointers.

In the meantime, I have make some slight improvement to my textures. Only frustration is at very close up, I am still not able to remove the seam between the head and the neck. Guess my skill in texturing is still far behind.

Incidentally, she also fits EveV2's Corset by Arduino with some tweaking. Guess that is not a surprise as they are twin sisters.

Here is my latest render with my texture improved.

Leeroy5, I like to share her with you but just let me fine tune so of her joints further and also try to get a more user friendly V2 texture version as soon as I can.

Really nice improvement in the texture. Wish I could help with the remapping question but I have no idea on how to go about it. In addition to April, I'm sure someone else here could point you in the right direction. She looks great.
