darnit arad! and e-on emailed me specifically 'cause i'm head vue honcho, so i could post the info! (oh well, i knew somebody would beat me to it. :) ) but, so i feel better, here's the specs: - Crash when loading scenes that contained directional lights in groups (Vue 3 bug). Fixed. - Very rare clipping problems when using Bounding Volume Hierarchy optimization fixed (Vue 3 bug). - Scene would not be updated when typing a time in the timeline (Vue 3 bug). Fixed. - Memory leak when rendering animations. Plugged. - Progress information would not appear when rendering to screen. Fixed. - Pressing Cancel when loading a scene with a picture file missing would not cancel loading. Fixed. - Minimizing and restoring Vue would modify the selected render area. Fixed.

This is BETA 6. As in not yet the final 3.1 patch. SO what's left to fix? Anyone still having issues with anything? This latest patch seemed to address all the issues I still had. This is really great that E-OnSoftware does their patches out in the open like this. Makes it so much easier to get the feedback going both ways.

Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.

LOL Bloodsong.....last night I was griping to myself about the progress window still not showing up...then realized I hadn't installed the patch!! Guess I thought it would be fixed by osmosis or something. :-) Gail
