Subject: Poser 4 to Vue 4 (wavefront obj)

I am having trouble importing my Poser character into Vue 4. I save the figure in Wavefront obj format and then when I try to import the object in Vue 4 the figure comes out differently. Can some one give me a step by step lesson on how to do it correctly. Thanks in advance. Eric

Save your Poser figure as pz3 and then import it into Vue:-). every thing comes with transparency and bums and maps. But you need Vue 4.12 for it. If you don't have it, just update for free at www.e-onsoftware.com Guitta guittalogo.GIF

Yep, Guitta is correct, but don't forget to close Poser before you attempt to import your pz3...cause Vue won't let it. Sharen

What I found out also if I'm going to save Poser character as a object for vue, delete all the bumps first then save...It should look nice when you import it to Vue

Why so complicated artisthead?? Vue imports pz3 fully mapped!!

Sometimes I use the obj also for Bryce this way I'll have it ready if I need it...Just another way:)also works well with Truespace..Not complicated at all.
