Subject: So why did this happen?

I had Michael in a scene and I decided to try one of the light sets. I haven't used the light sets much. I picked one at random. It was AMP2. (Asian Male something, I think - from DAZ. This was Poser 5 by the way. When I clicked on the lights set of choice, Michael turned black. I looked in the Material Room to see if he still had a texture and he did. Also, all the lights were up to the left of the sphere and they were all black too. I turned one of them to white, but nothing seemed to change. And I couldn't figure out how to get things back to normal, so I closed poser and reopened and things were okay again. But I'm not sure I want to try the lights again. I was also wondering what the texture converter at DAZ is exactly for. What are some examples of what you would use it for. Thanks.

If you are using Poser 4, you'll need to delete each light one by one. Sometimes that happens to me too when I switch between too many lights. Poser 4 doesn't automatically delete the lights you aren't using, just turns them off. At some point with too many lights, they all turn black. Laurie

The texture converter converts textures. Currently, it's just v2>v3/v3>v2, but there are going to be updates as time goes on to likely include the entire millinium family.
