Subject: Rendering Problem

Working with P4 and update installed. I tried a render at 900PX-72res. and got a message of insufficient disk space. I have an 80gig hard drive with 256dram,Pentium 4. Now is this related to memory? Can't believe it's disc space as I have 70% unused. Even shut down pc and did disc clean and didn't help. Did the render at 750 before it would work. Any ideas how to fix this?

Ideas? Lots & lots of them! Unfortunately there seems to be no one-size-fits-all solution. Search this forum using "insufficient" to see the long list of various methods that others have suggested.

Its not related to disk space, as you guessed. But I had a half gig of memory and upgraded to a gig so likely a quarter gig is not enough. Depends on your OS, but remember, WinXP needs a quarter gig just to run smooth and you'll need more to run Poser. I'm on win2k which is easier on memory than XP.

Looks like time to upgrade, opted for more options instead of memory. Will see how poser runs after the added memory. Lots of ideas I've read, should probably try the memory patch after upgrade also. Thanks for the help.
