Nice, I like this one quite a bit. I especially like it because anyone could have taken it. There is usually a wicker basket in everyone's house. One of the things that bothers me about photography competitions is that it seems that people that have access to beautiful views of unique items have an advantage. It could be argued that we all have access to beautiful views but a scerene mountain lake at sunrise is a winner shot most of the time. I think I should probably shut up now ... I love your basket.

Would have to agree with your observation there doca.... I suppose it is because people are drawn to images which they themselves do not see everyday... Wondering if that is at all accurate on my part, but the one thing in my own mind that makes sense. For example....images of Europe, Italy in particular, with all our Italian posters in the gallery, just seems so exotic to me....every image is beautiful even the mundane stuff. Does that make sense?

...makes a lot of sense, 'Chelle. A Challenge from our own back yard is a real challenge, unless like one of the Gallery members (funkandjaz?) tou have the Loc Ness monster in your back yard.
