Arrrgh! which one? Is anyone in a position to compare the features of both versions? Oh my aching credit card!

I have the same problem. I've hardly used Mimic 1.0, so I don't know if it would be worth getting the Pro version or the cheaper one. I'd also like to know why it is only available as a download. I'd much prefer the disk and manual if there is one. Downloads are okay, but not with a slow connection.

you can read here the difference. My vote, pro blows the basic program out of the water. You cant go wrong getting that.

I went ahead and purchased Pro. With the Plat. Club discount, the sale price, and upgrade from version 1.0, it came to $78.38. I also still had a gift certificate in there for $8.01 which brought it down to $70.37. That's not much more than I would have spent for the basic version. Now on installing, I was surprised that the program didn't ask to search for my original Mimic 1.0 disk. Since I didn't have it installed on my system, I had to install Mimic 1.0 first, then the 2.0 install was flawless. I wonder if I still need version 1.0 on my system or can I get rid of it.
