One thing i never figured out about poser and i still need an answer. When you create a figure and then place the camera above and in front of your model so you are able to see the shadow on the floor...........how do you get it ro render that shadow? Mine always dissapears once youve rendered it. Any ideas? Do you have to place an object/plane on the floor first? Lost :(

Yes, you need an object (like the ground plane -- CTRL-G) to cast the shadow onto. The preview display's "shadow" is just a temporary visual guide so you can tell how high your character is above ground level. To render shadows, you must turn on shadows in Render Options, and have one or more lights with shadows enabled.

Also make sure to check the hierarchy editor: the eye needs to be "on" for the ground plane. It seems to be off by default, and even making it visible under Object Properties doesn't always make it visible when it renders. Carolly
