antevark,If you have just a few fonts...just drop them in the font folder found in the Windows folder. If your going to be adding alot of fonts,you should DL the free lite version of ATM(Adobe type manager)from their site. Any program that uses fonts(Photoshop,Illustrator,Word,etc.) is going to load them all,which will put a demand on your systems resource.With ATM you can control which fonts are active,and will be loaded/used. I purchased the ATM Delux version,but I have a HUGE collection of fonts that I use in Indesign and Illustrator...but the lite is all most people will need. SWAMP
antevark which OS are you using? In OS X just go home -> library -> fonts & drop them in there.
