Does anyone know if you can render in other 3d Apps like Vue or Bryce and still get the mimic animation and sound? Just wondering as I'm considering getting something like those soon.

Vue will import animated Poser scene files directly, if you have the Mover plugin. Visit Phoul's website at www.belino.net to see examples of Poser animation (many done with Mimic) rendered in Vue.

Bringing Poser animations into Bryce is considerably more challenging, although konan's Natural Pose utility helps somewhat.

I don't know if the sound will be imported automatically into either application, but you can add the soundtrack to the finished movie afterward with a decent video editing utility.

Attached Link: http://www.reiss-studio.com/

Reiss studio has a plugin for Maya, You can export animation created in Poser. Currently his plugin works with p4 and p4 pro pack, from what I hear you can also exoprt from p5 but it takes a little bit of extra work.

Reiss is still working on the new plugins for P5 that will export to Lightwave, Max and of course Maya.
