Subject: Victoria 3 clothing...use Victoria 2 clothing?

Hi. I just got Victoria 3 up and running, and was wondering if there was an easy way to conform Victoria 2 (and 1) clothing to Victoria 3? Thanks in advance...

Here's a link to an useful tutorial... You'll need "the tailor 1.5" (sold at Daz)

V3 should come with a V3 to V2 model that uses V2 clothing.

Yes but she doesn't have any morphs apart from the face. Love Esther

No, but if you use Wyrmasters Voluptuous Vicky, or Victoria Vogue, you can adjust the magnets to create new body shapes and save the results as a cr2.

V3 actually wears V2 clothing fairly well. Clothing conforms to her and the only notable problem is in the Hip area. With V3's very wonderful morphs, you can acheive the figure style you need and still hide those unsightly lumps and bulges :) I've attached 2 examples that I whipped up in about 15 minutes. No custom morphs or magnets were used, only V3's own morphs and scaling on the clothing. With some extra work (magnets, postwork) you can easily fix the hip problem. If you have the male morphs, V3 also fits into Michael's clothing with little effort as well.

How about the reverse? Is it possible to use V3 clothing on V2?

lhiannan ( ) posted Mon, 09 June 2003 at 6:17 PM

I haven't been successful using them "out of the box" on V2. When conformed, they disappear into the figure. Maybe if you parented them and then posed manually... Nah, too much effort for me :)

You can get great results using Tailor, Manikkin, and JointParameters. Here is an example: BatLab's V2 Killy Suit converted to V3.
