Seems like DAZ has really been pushing Victoria 3 for a long time now. Have they given up on Michael 3 or are they simply trying to get every penny they can out of the poser users before they release Mike 3?

DAZ is a great company with wonderful products....they dont come across as a place trying to squeeze money out of people just for the sake of doing so. Developing a good product takes time and resources...and I would highly encourage them to take the time and not rush things simply to get a product out. A bit of a wait for a great product is much better than rushing out a half assed one. (Same goes for DAZ Studio in my book)

As of a week or two it was off the drawing board and in production but it still has a while to go I am sure. They didn't want to give a timeframe because they didn't know really. Back in January they said it would be summer at least.

I hope they hold off releasing the MIke3 character til they have some clothing, textures like the second skin packs etc, so we don't all run out and grab a naked Mike 3 and then have to wait weeks for things to start poping up. Also hope they work with the creator of Universal Texture converter before the release of Mike 3 so that we can convert all our Mike 2 textures over to Mike 3 the week we grab Mike 3. I think it would really really help people when they buy Mike 3 and don't get so frustrated like what happened with Vicki3. Just my thoughts. I'm eager to see what they do with Mike3, gunna be a fun Fall with Daz Studio, and Mike 3 woop.

Sadly, the Universal thing doesn't work for me so all of it has to be done originally for me. But I do agree that getting a few outfits done before release might be cool so there isn't as long of a lag.

Well, remember that expectations on M3 are pretty high. DAZ did a really good job with V2, and then topped themselves with M2. A lot of people requested that V3 be able to morph into a male to offer more diversity, and DAZ pulled it off. With the Hulk movie coming out, there's been a few threads out requesting hulk-like morphs for M3. There's also been some threads about Stephanie, who was made from the mesh of M2. So the range of expectation for M3 is to go from a petite woman to a mammoth-sized superhero. A project of that size requires a lot of effort and resources so who knows when M3 will be released. P.S. And as with the whole Anna-Marie Goddard V3 clone, there may be some legal wrangling being done to make sure that textures and likenesses used to make M3 are secure. M2 looked much less like Dan Farr than the original so who knows what they're doing :)

Mike 3 will get here I'm sure (and be an excellent figure). What I dread is adding more inj/rem items to the list in the pose library. I have V3 figure-V3 body mor-V3 Head mor-V3 male-mor, etc. I guess it uses about 30-35 lines, and if M3 takes about another 30-35 lines. 70 lines takes almost 1/3 of the 250 line limit of the pose library, with only 2 figures, M3-Kids? How many inj/rem are in the future? Is Daz working on that?

I just hope Daz can resist adding only an insignificant number of vertexs to M3. You can only use an MT with a character that has the same number of vertexs. This is why many many figures have MTs that are not compatable. I don't know of many of you, but I spend many many hours a day collecting freebies liek these. When Daz3D changes thier premiere line's meshform I hope there is a good reason for it. People need time to make MTs...
