I have spent some time today searching the forums and the Marketplace for gift certificates and have come up with nothing. I don't trust that every user updates their wishlist when their tastes change. I also dont have everyones wishlist handy for my "oh so currently important" impulse buys. Can I buy a gift certificate for someone? I would also like to see the option to put a $5.00 store credit, or gift certificate on my own wishlist. I have been tempted to buy items on peoples wishlists, but if I have to IM them in order to find out what they want most (within my budget) it sucks all the fun and suprise out.

Oh, Sharen, that is excellent. I think gift certificates are the best idea when you haven't a clue what someone might like. And your site is one of the best (at least I do a lot of sighing there). Good news!

This is fantastic news. The more I though about it the more sense it made. I know that if someone had purchased a gift certificate for me here, that would make me more likely to rush to the MP to spend it!!! Very cool! Than you everyone! Sharen I will check it out! Thanks for the heads-up!
