Hi all. I am one of the recepients of, like, 25 message that seem to come from www.boxedart.com, an internet template firm. Since templates involve a combination of Photoshop and internet i decided I could post this here. Just to help some colleagues in the field a little...

I visited the site and found that they are under some kind of attack, with a lot of spam mails being sent under their name. All people replying (some using quite rude remarks to express their feelings) will probably crash their mail server.

They already survived a DDoS attack, this mail seems to come from the same source.

If you receive mail with the title "Daily news from www.boxedart.com" just ignore it. At the link you will find their side of the story.

I thought it would be nice to use my favourite information channel to let a bunch of photoshop users know that boxedart is not to blame. Not for the mail that is.

Interesting how these things work these days, isn't it?

"BoxedArt.com and Big Resources, Inc. express our most sincere apologizies to anyone that has been flooded with this spam.

...to a cross.

I think a cross would be a bit too much of an honour... (so, THAT is a cross-reference those webbies are talking about! Now I will try hotlinking the spammers... to a rail track!)
