Is there a way to inport a multi frame animation model form poser (export > .obj > multi frame) into Carrara 2.1 studio? Also anyone else have problems with webXport2; it make my carrara stop functioning?

have you thought about exporting Poser as a movie then importing it into Cararra? thats just off the top of my head...otherwise i think youd have to import the objects and animate them in either program...bringing a poser figure into cararra id think youd have to reset up the bones structure in the setup room before being able to animate it there

That would be a pz3 file import, and Carrara can't import pz3 files. I don't know if they will write a plug-in like the one for Ray Dream, which was only for single-frame pz3 files IIRC.

You might get by with a multiframe .obj from poser - wouldn't hurt to try? also, Someone brought this up a while ago - you might check what was said then by doing a search in this forum under poser.

It would be nice if they added this. Vue4 added this with Mover4 and it works quite nicely. Regards, Paul
