I found 3 free sample textures that i'm trying to use for either a shoreline or a small breaking wave. It's not working out too well. Would anyone be willing to try it themselves so I can see what i'm doing wrong? It's 'frothy water'; 1 txtr, 1 bump, 1 transmap. I wanted to post them but they're past the 200 kb limit. The largest one is 346 kb. And I don't have a homepage. Link below. I'd be forever grateful... Thanks in advance, BillyGoat

Now i'd know your work anywhere, Gebe! That picture looks familiar... I'm curious if the 3 materials do work in a render like yours. I get a wierd combination that doesn't look anything like frothy water from those materials... I'll try your site again, sometimes it doesn't load for me. Thank you!

The image may look familar to you because a member used it and presented it as his own creation in the gallery. The shore scene for download is there to show how you can create shore in the terrain editor, not to use the full scene as it is:-) You say my site doesn't load for you. Do you mean the menu? There is an alternate menu available at top of the first page. Guitta

It's not the mesh i'm having trouble with. It's applying the 3 materials that's making me crazy, LOL! I have just about all the water objects from Forester and use them with no problem. I need someone to apply the materials to their mesh (cube, whatever) and show me how it came out. I don't know what i'm doing wrong, I don't have any problem loading other materials with bumps and transmaps, just this set. And i'd really like to use that froth on the edge of my waterline. All I get is a bumpy cement bundle of crap. Am I making sense? Gebe - your page is fine, I used the alternate menu. And who in the world would ever claim your freestuff to be theirs? That's plain nuts! Your work is so distinct no one could ever get away with that.

I know you're busy working. Maybe when you have 'play time' you can look at it. It's not urgent. In fact, I thought someone like MightyPete would go for it. I only want to see the materials applied. To anything. I can 'lift' the white froth off the background (or vice-versa) and use it. Maybe that's the trick. Just puzzled that it didn't work for me. Thank you for answering! BillyGoat
