HIGHWAY TO HELL (1979) (Young, Young, Scott)

Living easy, living free
Season ticket on a one-way ride
Asking nothing, leave me be
Taking everything in my stride
Don't need reason, don't need rhyme
Ain't nothing I would rather do
Going down, party time
My friends are gonna be there too

I'm on the highway to hell

No stop signs, speed limit
Nobody's gonna slow me down
Like a wheel, gonna spin it
Nobody's gonna mess me round
Hey Satan, payed my dues
Playing in a rocking band
Hey Momma, look at me
I'm on my way to the promised land

I'm on the highway to hell
(Don't stop me)

And I'm going down, all the way down
I'm on the highway to hell

Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someone's neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what is that thing?

the fire texture would be clay's, i think :)

Yeah its Clays. His texture should ship with the next version of Bryce in my opinion. Just a bit of cheesy metal fun I did one afternoon. Grav

Shazbot. Nanoo, nanoo. (Last words on the album)

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

And the last recorded words Bon Scott ever spoke. The Bon Scott years were my favorite AC/DC. That's a happy looking devil. Scott

At my cousin's wedding, that was the song the best man dedicated to the couple. Maybe he was right. They divorced a few years later.

Scott: I have to agree. Although the "Brian" years have had some great headbanging music, Bon was a better singer. Love "Shot Down in Flames".

Yeah tjohn shot down in flames - yes! I like sin city, whole lotta rosie, hell anything on powerage or let there be rock for that mattter! Yeah - they did headbang better with Brian, but they rocked harder with Bon.

tjohn ( ) posted Fri, 13 June 2003 at 4:14 PM

If they couldn't write songs about evil, sex, or rock music, would AC/DC make a sound? :^D

Great job. I love AC/DC. Gotta agree about Bon Scott, but they were damn lucky to find Brian and carry on with their sound. My favorites are "Long Way to the Top","TNT","Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap", and "High Voltage".

Tjohn. Evil, sex, rock music & alcohol. What else is there in life? High Voltage rules. Bon Scott's not dead, hes just hung over. Grav

I've got a song here from Linkin Park called High Voltage. I don't know ACDC (I think). Must be because 1976 was almost 10 years before I was born.
