I'm on a roll this week... I've posted ANOTHER new image to the story... The funny thing is... I'm just about to the part in the story that I've waited over 10 years to draw... (The inside of "The Museum") Hope you like it! Doug

I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

Aaaaarrrrrrrgggghhh! Just kidding. Cool depth of field. Have you done diferent fonts for voices before? I don't recall. (I'm about 1.5 - 2 weeks away from mine !@#)

Yes, this was the first time I used a different font for the "voice" of Shareen... more madness to come. Doug

What texhnique did you use to get the cool D.O.F.? I really like the font idea. I'm a big fan of adding semiotic clues to images that pass additional information to the viewer. Tlaubach: Nah not a race. I feel like I'm part of a "twenty mule team" and not pulling hard enough on my harness. I think that the more series-writers put out there the faster additional content will be generated. Where it is all going I couldn't tell you. With my luck though we'll prolly end up in Utah. (and to all my friends in Utah that I just dised...live wit it, you're in Utah :-) jje

JJE, using Bryce and PhotoShop The depth of field trick is pretty easy... you need a scene... then select what you want to stand out and create a mask render. Then in PS use the mask to isolate the foreground elements, delete the rest of the scene (after you make a copy background panel) then gausian blur the background. Maybe I should make a tutorial?
