THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Question on dual monitor and Bryce 5

Found a used monitor to go with my present one yesterday. Installed a older ati radeon 7500 (only one with dual out) to test the dual monitor thing. Flaky from the start, I can get 1280x on each screen but only after hitting various options. Bryce opened spanning the full 2560x1024 dual monitor with no option to keep it limited to a single screen. Is this normal? Im considering on Monday purchasing a g550 matrox card given they are still the best for the pure 2d world. Am i likely to have issues with bryce and limiting it to one screen? I know from the newsgroups that ati dual monitor has issues compared to the matrox 'smoothly' working features but unsure if it will solve my Bryce problem.

Tried the very same setup, became too cumbersome to deal with all the time. 20" single monitor is fine by me. My fix was a lower end PC for the other monitor to handle e-mail, Word process, etc.

The settings for the screens should be in the video card set-up, there are no settings in Bryce for this.

the issue was bryce when opened would automatically span to both screens cut in to by each monitor. I just want it on the left screen only leaving the right one free for non graphics webpages etc. Hope i didnt buy this 2nd 21in used hp p1110 monitor for nothing haha.
