Subject: Daz3D Dungeon Lighting Kit

I'm having problems with the dungeon lighting kit that is available on daz3d, made by dodger. I can't seem to get the omni-directional lights to work. I am running Poser 5. When I try to load the lights, the prop shows up, turn on the intensity, colors, etc. through the body section of the item. I load in a prop, say the bullseye lantern, the lighting shows up in the work space, but when I render the image, it comes out with no lighting. I don't have any other lights in the scene besides the omni-directional lights. Does this kit even work with P5? Doesn't mention anything on the daz website.

The lights in the figure library do not work. But the prop lights do. Try loading the torch. You'll see some better results with that. Check out the link I posted. It's some settings I came up with for his lightsabers he made, but also applies to the DLK. So try it again without loading the lights from the figure library. If you look at the image in my gallery 'The Beast Awaits', you'll see how the lights can look in P5. That image almost exclusively uses lighting from the DLK. Let me know if you need further help. Yeah, what GF said.

For more elucidation on this, the omni figures do not work in P5 because P5 fixed crosstalk, and their fix did not even consider the possibility of spotlights (an omni is made from 14 of them) as body parts, nor of ERC-ing spotlights, and thus their fix killed the way they work. Use one that's already on (from an L or GL prop) and those should work. Also take note that the bullseye lantern has a transparency map done P4 style, which requires some modification to work right in P5.
