I cannot find a store that sells RDS 5.5, the link from the metacreations site reffers you to CompUSA as reseller but when you there they do not have it listed? computers4sure (online retail superstore) only have tha Mac version. I need to get a hold of the windows version. The madness ARGH!!!!

Carrara was the upgrade for RDS. I looked at buy.com and they did not have it. I think RDS is turning into an orphan app.

I did a search on CNET and found 11 vendors that are still selling Ray Dream Studio 5.5. The cheapest price was $175.00. I would check to make sure the vendor has it in stock before ordering. CNET's URL is http://www.cnet.com

The address is www.purplus.com They have a lot of the Meta Creations stuff there. Last time I looked they had 5.5 for 139.00 and 5 for 69.00. This company does most of their business on eBay. I have bought from them on eBay auction and they have been very reputable. I would gladly do business with them again. That has just been my experience. If you have any question about them, then goto eBay and check their feedback rating. It was excellent when I purchased from them and most likely still is. You also might actually want to watch the auctions. I just bought 5.5 out of an auction for $91.00! Just got it today. Brand new and in the box! Just my two cents worth. Actually, a heck of a lot more with the money I saved!!

Thanks for the tip, JR. I finally knuckled down and ordered RD 5.5. (I've been working in RD 3D for about 9 months now. I guess I'll have a bunch of new stuff to learn!)
