For some reason, I'm having a hard time putting Varian's alternate leaves on the monstera and tropical plant. They look fine in the material preview, but as you can see from the example (monstera with an alternate leaf) it looks awful. I use his alternate tree leaves a lot and have never run into this. Any suggestions? I've tried most of his monstera/tropical plant leaves on both those plants and come up with similar problems.

I realized that when I changed the transparency map, the mapping went to automatic rather than flat, so the trans map didn't match the image map. Duh! I actually figured it out when looking at the image I posted above to see if it was clear, lol! Anyhow, lesson learned; when you change stuff in the material editor, make certain to check the mapping options, and make sure they match! heh heh!
