THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Can I ask a Question of people please?

Hi I've noticed this several time lately why oh why do people delete the begining of a thread? Even if it sounds looks silly after posting perhaps there are some here who have been too afraid to ask the question but would like the answer (NO silly questions just silly answers) deleting the first question just makes a mockery of any answers posted imho Dave

Dave, I hear ya pal! I am just the most recent recipient of the very thing you mention here. I have learned to ask questions if I don't know something, and almost all of the people in the forum are willing to cut someone quite a bit of slack, no matter how simple or elementary the answer may be.

I'm guilty of once or twice deleting a message I put in after people responded to it, but not for the reason you'd think. I few times I've actually posted a message that I was in the Bryce chat room. After I leave tho, I can't see leaving the message up so I delete it so no one else will come along and think I'm still there. Ok, so nobody else does this but me, lol. Most of the messages I see deleted don't have replies to them. Usually what happens is someone's image doesn't attach properly and they have to repost. And on other occassions I have seen someone decide to leave rosity as a member and they go and delete all their posts. Which can bring up some really old stuff and confused the heck out of me the first time it happened. Ok, I've babbled on enough. :-D

LOL,I honestly meant no criticism of you Ang! I can understand your motivations for deleting the start of a thread the way you've explained it here. :-)
