Subject: xFrog -> Vue

Maybe a dumb question, but I wonder what will be the best format to import a xFrog plant to Vue. There are several options, but there always seem to be problems with the texture or transmap. (e.g. obj, 3ds,...). I didn't find a note or tutorial on that. Any hint from someone who already did that? - Tintifax

If you look in our Backroom (link above, in our banner) go to Tutorials. You will find a tutorial on this subject.

I prefer 3DS, a Frog export in 3DS is only 1/10 the size of an OBJ and there's no noticeable difference in quality. The "texture or transmap" problems are about the same for both 3DS and OBJ, both need extra work in VUE, so imho a 2Mb 3DS tree is the better choice compared to importing the same tree in OBJ format at 34Mb.

Thanks to both of you. I was afraid that I had to some extra work.
