Hi Ok so let me get this straight one of the major complaints when you changed the site was about these ..... dropdowns now it ws said at the time that the situation would be monitored for 2 months. now what do we find another one which just leads to information we could get to any way can I just ask Why? this information is scattered through out the site but now it is pulled together for areas of interest. so if you really enjoy 2D, you might find this area easier to navigate and any new updates in this area will be posted on the main 2D page. :) just a little reorganizing of information. tammy

this will take the place of the backrooms, but we are not abandoning those rooms for they can be used if the mod wants to. also you will notice a nav bar at the top of every community... this pulls that area's gallery, forum, tutorial, marketplace, chat, etc.. and displays throughout those features if you go this way. thanks tammy

Those drop downs wouldn't be so bad if it just would wait to take you somewhere. Right now if anything is highlighted there in those drop downs, your going there..like it or not. Wouldnt it be better to disable that auto thing and let members use the 'go' button? Why is that 'go' button even there?

the GO buttons are there for older browswers.

The buttons are there for browsers that are non-compliant with javascript as well as for those that have javascript disabled.

Using the Poser Community as an example - as I am a Moderator to that forum, However, the following comments can be used for any of the featured communities :)

I really like the idea that I can click on the Poser Community - and from that one page - I can quickly go to the Poser Forum, Poser Gallery, Poser Tutorials, Poser Chat, Poser Freestuff, and Poser MP Products. No longer do I have to click and scroll through all the pages, if I am just looking for something Poser related. Also, the Central Community Page is an excellent way to post Poser Announcements that might get lost when posting in the Poser Forum Thread. This can be Upcoming MP Sales, Poser Contests, Special Events that Poser Members are involved in [contests they have won, Gallery Opening, or Being Featured in a Magazine -Heck even annoucements of Everyday things that might concern the Poser Community - be it illness or celebrations! Ohh this is just TOOOooo much FUN! Thanks sOOo much! ladynimue

Hey, I like this new feature very much! Sort of "one stop shopping" for whichever app you might want to focus on at the moment. I'm glad that you chose to add this as an auxilery option, rather than as a replacement for existing navigation (jeez, imagine the complaints if you'd done that, LOL. For what it's worth, I happen to like that the drop-downs take you to the selected area automatically. Yes, I've ended up in the wrong forum a few times as a result of going to quickly, but it doesn't bother me...easy enough to get back to where you actually want to be. In my ergonomically-influenced opinion, the less mouse clicks, the better. I'd wouldn't like it as much if I had to click "go." Anyway, thank you for continuing to do things to improve the site. I complained mightily when the site changes first went into effect, but as time goes on I've gotten past all that and am now accustomed to the newer features and design. Looking forward to watching the existing and forthcoming communities develop. ...applause for the staff...

Hi Gravition :) We are adding new communities all the time! This is just the first round, kind of like building a new mall or a community center! Not all the stores or programs are filled on opening day! Stay tuned and keep checking back - New Communitie will be added as the weeks go by :) ladynimue

I like the new communities from what I've seen, but wouldn't a random picture from the galleries in the last few days be better than yanked from the Hot20? After all, there are so many artists that never make the Hot20 (that should). That way it could be a showcase for all the talent, rather than the Hot20 ones. I like the random image idea though.
