I recently posted concerning upload problems when a thumb and image were uploaded at the same time. The thumb did not appear though a link was created to the image, and the image itself was highly pixelated like a first pass render. The cure so far seems to be to upload the image and then upload the thumb separately. I think this is at cross purposes with the bondware ideal but it appears to be a cross scripting conflict. Mivan

I have uploaded 3 images yesterday without a problem (beside the fact that it was a little slow). So it could be, that it was a very temporarily problem or somethign was wrong with your file formats.

The problem has been going on for over two weeks. Queries to admin at renderosity went unanswered. I checked and rechecked file size and format. Why is it that uploads proceed just fine independently of each other if the formats are off? Also it is not a continuous problem and none of my programs have changed or been added to with the exception of Mike Audelmans gradient designer. Just asking. Mivan

You see the difficulty, here - in my environment - it works. So there must be a difference. Because the discussion is not going up, i think not many people can have this problem. And that, for me is normally an indication to look onto my own environment, before guessing that there is a bug in something. Are you sure, that your provider hasn't changed anything? In bandwidth or other things. Could it be, that your connection is only slower so that it runs into a runtime problem? Could it be, that you haven't realized that there is a limit of 15K for thumbnails and Renderosity is more accurate regarding this since several weeks? You see, a lot of possibilities - a lot to check. Walther

I am very sorry and wish to apologise to anyone on the Vue list that I might have inadvertantly offended by posting my silly technical problem. It was discussed with one of the moderators first who deemed it a suitable topic for discussion. Obviously even though I was writing cobol back when we used punch cards for data storage and an advanced certification in Adobe Photoshop, I am unable to recognize a file that is bigger than 15k in size or degenerated load times. From this time forward I shall keep my technical questions and fixes to myself and avoid sullying this esteemed forum with further posts on the subject. Mivan

No problem at all, i was not offended. I had the same problem with Photoshop. Simple solution. "Save for Web" (because i am using a german version of Photoshop it could be that it is named slightly different). There you can optimize files for speciific file sizes. And that's what i am doing. Thumbs less than 14K, images less than 300K. That's all. Hope that helps, Walther
