THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Bryce3 .obp and Bryce4 .obp question.

Is it true that you cannot use a Bryce4 .obp in Bryce3? If so how can you convert these so you can use them. A friend of mine wants me to find out for him. He may also have found a way to convert these files himself already. Thanks.

It seems to be true, most of my obps and at least half my skies and mats are useless to me since I changed over to Bryce 3 instead of the Bryce 4 demo. It's very frustrating.

Talent is God's gift to you. Using it is your gift to God.

Persoanlly I have no problems because I use Bryce4 but alot of my friend's .obp files are useless for the Bryce3'ers. But like I say he's figured out a way to do this but he adds it's a bitch load of work. I'll keep you posted unless someone else has already figured this problem out.

I'd like to know how to do this if you can give me any information? Most of the objects I have made in Bryce 4 will open in Bryce 3. It just seem sto be anything I have made in trueSpace, imported into Bryce4 and then exported to .obp to be imported into Bryce 3D that doesn't work.

Well when I get updated on his progress I'll pass the info on to all of you here. Till then , late!
