Subject: Where is Dance Studio by Metacreations?

The Poser 4 Handbook mentions MetaCreation's Dance Studio but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know anything about it. You can use it to create BVH files. Is it a seperate program or is it a hidden file in Poser? Kimberly

its a separate program. You can try ebay or if you are a student or teacher(or if you know one)try www.journeyed.com that is a place for students to buy software cheaper and I have seen Dance studio there. The program itself produces BVH files and you get to chorograph(SP) your own dances. Marge

They don't have it. It's still on their web page though. Thanks for the tip because $12 is great. I found it at "Most Significant Bit" www.msbcd.com for $20 plus $5 s/h. Well at least it's on their web page - I guess I should call them to see if they have it.

Try "msbcd.com" (that's where I got a copy a couple of months ago).

Hey Allerleirauh, can you create nice animations from Dance Studio? Do you have enough control to create something specific? I've heard others remark that the results are a bit cartoonish; is it possible to create dance moves that are realistic? Thanks, Krel

Mine is on its way. I'll let you know once I start working with it. Kimberly
