Poser 4 or Poser 5?
In Poser 4, it can't really be done within the program itself, unless you have a special "trick" prop like Roy G's Dial-A-Tile. You need to use a third-party utility like UVMapper to remap the object's texture coordinates so the material will repeat.
EnglishBob has a tutorial on the process at Morphography.
In Poser 5's Material Room, after you apply the texture via a 2D image node, you can alter the node's U_Scale and V_Scale values to make the material repeat.
On the contrary. . . well before I put my foot 'all' the way in my mouth, does Poser 4 without ProPack have a grouping tool and "Create Perspective UVs" button on it's controls? If so, that'll do the trick. It works much like English Bob's tute but since you can scale the camera and the output window, you have more control.
Well silly me! I answered my own question. Details are on page 157 of your Poser manual and page 158 shows that 'yes' there is that UVs button, that I haven't ever found any tutorials on anywhere. Hmmmmmmm. . . . because it does more than just tiling. Anyway the Grouping Tool is the Editing Tools button that looks like a dashed square with a dot in it, ( mine is the last one on the right, I guess its that way for everyone) but I've actually done most of my tiles with UVMapper too. :)

I would like to know how to tile materials. I can't find anything in the manual about this. For example, I've used one huge square prop for the floor and applied a smallish "mosaic" pattern. When it renders, this mosaic becomes one huge low-res pattern. How can I make the applied material tile so that it gets repeated all over the floor at a small size? Thanks.
