Subject: OT--general download question ..... but Please Help!

Up until today when ever I would down load a freebee or a program that I would buy it would ask me if I wanted to open or save and where I wanted to download it to but today it automaticly starts and sends it to a temporary file. I can not find where to change it back. I am on Windows and use IE 6.0 Thank you for any help
