THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Annoying combination, but I'm back

Did you miss me? :) I got floored by a lethal mix of work&virus&40degrees and had to disert the Forum&Gallery for over a week. Now I'm back, trying to catch up with the latest tips&tricks&galleryworks. The virus left me an annoying habit to abuse the "&" on my keyboard. My belated congrats to Zhann for the June victory and the great July theme. And, while I'm here... I need to resize a scene to make it way bigger than it is now, but mantaining the same proportions. It should be done by grouping everything (camera included), resizing and then ungrouping. Am I wrong? Nice sunday to everybody. Stefano

Alright!!! Good to see you back!! I don't see any reason why grouping all and resizing wouldn't work. I was wondering why I haven't been seen any new 'doublecrash' images in a while... and if you consider rainy and windy a nice Sunday........lol

Yes, on the resize thingy. Make sure "Everything" is grouped and resize just that group. Another way is to parent everything to one object (e.g. sphere) then just scale the sphere (I've done this before, but I think I'm leaving something out, not at my bryce computer at the moment...)

Welcome back aboard! Avast!!! and speaking of search parties, Where's Humorix? I haven't seen him since I turned him on to Dr. Who's Scarf Last Christmas . . . Hmmm, I wonder if he's gone over to the "Doc" Side.

Thanx a lot, guys & gals. I missed you all... this Forum is an addiction, LOL. And thanx for confirming my feeble memory about resizing, it worked out smoothly. Now on with the threads... S.
