Dr Geep, where the devil are ye? It's been a few weeks since your last post here. Now, I know you had some things to deal with, and when you got back, you said you had lost your spark. That's all cool, dawg, you don't need to have a spark to post here; in any case, you have big respect from this community. What I'm trying to say is - are you ok? Please check in to say "hi", at least. We miss you, man. Take it easy, bro.

[Picks up the red phone and hears, "No, the WHITE phone."] "Dr. Geep, Mr. Hamm is holding for you on the white phone. Please end your call with the Mayo Clinic and pick up." "Okay, give me Hamm on white and hold the Mayo." Sorry, an old joke from the movie, Airplane!. Whenever someone mentions the "white courtesy phone", I can't resist.

Sam, I'm worried about him, too. If he was lurking quietly, he should have responded by now. :sigh: There have been wildfires in Arizona, where people have been evacuated, so I'll have to see where I put his physical address and check the location. He'd said something a long time ago about it being cold in the mountains at night, so I suspect that he might possibly live on one of those ridges. I think the biggest problem may be that he just doesn't know what to say. The tutorials gave him a framework: he knew what he wanted to explain and how many examples to use, and he could count on our digressions to keep things from getting too didactic and cumbersome and our questions often led to the next one. Let's see what we can do to nudge him out of his lair. Carolly

That's what Bruce Willis's character said in "The Fifth Element"... and we all know what happened to that poor cruise ship later! Good to see you back! Carolly
