Attached Link: Texture Problems

Hello, last evening I tried to build a keyboard. (Synth, looks kind of a DX7) I used Max 2.5 There are many single objects, the white keys , the black keys and the housing/frame. After that I tried to apply a texture on the frame. I used Paint 3D and Photoshop and put all the pieces were they belong. When I render the image in Paint 3D all looks perfect. But not in Poser. I tried to import it as 3DS or OBJ but it doesn't help much. I can change the color of the frame but when I'm trying to apply the texture the frame went all back. There is nothing wrong with the bitmap, when I apply the texture to an other objects it works well. If anybody want to check out whats wrong, I could send you all the files. (.max .3ds .obj .jpg .psd) Just send an e-mail to iron-man@gmx.de Maybe someone can finaly put the things togeher

Did you UVMap the mesh in MAX? This might be the source of the problem. Paul

UVMap the mesh in MAX ? Don't know. How do I do that ?

Its in modifiers, but I don't remember if it's called UVMap or just Map). However, if you save the object out as an OBJ file, you can do it in Steve Cox's UV Mapper (see thread below) Paul

heya; remember, if you painted the texture map in painter 3d, you have to flip the texture vertically before you apply it in poser.
