Just got Poser 5. started to try and get to work with it and The whole new way of dealing with materials, textures, transparencies and bumps just went right over my head. Are there any new texture tutorials for the new poser 5 out there? or someone who wants to take a step by step? I tried reading hte manual but well..wasn't overly helpful.

Join the club. Yes, there are a ton of tuts. You'll find some linked from the CL site. You'll find some linked from www.daz3d.com Take it one step at a time and ask here and we can probably direct you to a tut. There are quite a few showing up.
