Subject: Does Vue d'esprit 4 import poser 5 pz3s ?

Sorry if this question has already been answered, but I did a search and got nothing... So I'm contemplating buying Vue d'Esprit because I really love the looks of the nature renders with it. I'm only wondering if Vue is importing Poser 5 pz3's (material room and dial groups for instance). Any help would be much welcomed. Thanks in advance. Compiler

Vue can't import P5 pz3's yet but they have promised an update to 4.2 soon. Not sure if it'll import the hair though. I don't think so.

It'll import all the P4 features right now. There's an update soon for some of the P5 stuff. Emphisis on the some. Check their website and CL's for details.

No it won't pdxjims....not if you don't have Poser 4 installed. I only have Poser 5 and Vue will not import it's .pz3's You can export your characters to .obj files, but you'll need to do a lot of "tweaking" in Vue for them to look right. TrekkieGrrrl is right about the update. I've been waiting and hoping for it's arrival. Once the update is available it will be able to import Poser 4 features, but not the hair, nor the cloth room or most of the P5 stuff. I think I read the P5 materials could be imported. Frankly I wouldn't pay any attention to what is said by CL. If you want to know what the update can and can't do visit the Eon site (makers of Vue).
