This is a model I made using Ysvry's architectural components (in the Free section, or at http://home.deds.nl/~mp/elf/elf.htm). I got a bit carried away and it has ended up with about 12,000 objects. The main body of the model is made of Bryce primitives (and 1 terrain for the big rose window), but all the flying buttresses, the pillars, the finnials, the door surrounds and the towers are Ysvry's work. They are excellent models, and seem to have a very low polygon count for their complexity. I would certainly recommend them. Unfortunately, probably because of the number of objects in the scene, I've had a lot of trouble with grouping, and if I apply a texture to all the objects, Bryce just hangs when I try to save the file. I've posted a scene with the building in it in the gallery, but it has had to be a low-light scene to hide the fact that half the textures are missing! 8-) I had a lot of fun making this, and I'd like to show it off because I think it just shows what you can do with Bryce on the modelling side with a bit of help from some well-crafted imported components. I've attached a side view of it in another message.

Wow if it gets any bigger we'll be able to walk in it.... Can't wait to see it textured...

Whoa... that is a Wonderful model... Nice work.

There are 10 kinds of people: Those who know binary, and those who don't.
