How is this used?/what is it? Is this what is used by many to make the reflections of say a mirror that I have seen in many of the gallery renders??

What it is used for is to give a metalic look to an object that doesn't rteally have metalic properties. What you do is load in the metalics that poser provides, gold and silver I think, in the slot that says reflection map. I have never really used it but that is the base thing. Hope that helps
