Subject: Library Palette Question

This may be a silly question, but is there a way to add new catagories to the Library Palette. Specifically, I want to separate out my MATs from the Pose catagory (there are just too many and it is getting hard to find things). I know how to add sub-catagories within each catagory (figures, poses, faces, hair, hands, props, lights, camera) but not how to add a ninth major catagory. Any help would be appreciated. Bob

Which version of Poser are you using?

You can't add a new Library category to poser. You can only add folders to each category. If you're using poser 5, you can have separate runtime folders and keep different stuff in each one. If you have poser 4, what you can do is store MAT files in either Cameras or Faces. You'd have to move the files along with their .rsr thumbnail, then change the extension of the .pz2 file to .cm2 (cameras) or .fc2 (faces). You can do this easily enough with free apps like Renamer (link above). mac
