After messing around in the DTE and discovering new stuff there, I tried 'Alt-left-click' (on the little color buttons) I used in the DTE to bring up the different color palettes, on the little color squares in the lighting lab and voila, it works, it's is soooo much easier to get an accurate color this way. Just curious if everyone knew this and I was just the last to know....;)

Try it on anything that has a color....

It's way useful in the DTE for giving your mats just the right color...:)

Danamo try this link over at 3DCommune. It has a great list of easter eggs in the terrain editor and has links to other easter eggs found by other folk. Catlin

CTRL-ALT-Leftclick gives you the standard windows color menu.

For what it's worth, on the Mac you use Option Click.

Sometimes this feature is a but buggy in the light lab. Once When i used it it would decrease each of the values by one when i would click the check mark...weirdness.

Long time known but not a bunch of tuts on it. Hinchu and I did a two person render game with the dialoge uploaded to his web site about two years ago. We went into that section of the DTE. I don't see the link any more, but onward ho.
